Collo Rosso Dermatology is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We are actively working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing program rather than a one-time milestone.

Conformance Status

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are continuing to remediate identified issues as part of our regular site maintenance, with remediation reviews conducted at least quarterly.

Accessibility Features Currently in Place

• Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy.
• ARIA landmark regions and labeled controls for screen reader navigation.
• Color contrast at or above the 4.5:1 ratio required for normal body text.
• A visible "Skip to main content" link on every page.
• Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements, including form fields.
• Full keyboard operability. Every link, button, and form control is reachable and operable without a mouse.
• Alternative text on all meaningful images; decorative images are correctly hidden from assistive technology.
• Form fields with explicit, programmatically associated labels.
• Respect for the operating system's prefers-reduced-motion setting. Animations and transitions are disabled for users who request reduced motion.
• No autoplay media or flashing content above the WCAG seizure threshold.

Areas We're Still Improving

• Touch target sizes for some footer icons and small UI elements may not yet meet the 44×44px AAA recommendation.
• Embedded third-party content (such as Google Maps iframes) is subject to those providers' accessibility characteristics, which are outside our direct control.
• We have not yet completed independent third-party screen reader testing across all pages.

Known Limitations

We are aware that some third-party embedded content (such as Google Maps iframes) may have accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control. We work to provide alternative contact methods and text-based location information alongside any embedded maps.
